1) i think Yoko wants to help Mr.Naido because she is going through the same thing as him, with all the teasing and stuff. I think that he helps her because he thinks she's a nice girl and is not spoiled like all the other girls. They both are getting teased by the girls.
2)I think when Yoko found out that Ko was shining shoes, she realized that Ko really cares about Yoko and wants to do whatever she can to help her.
Her attitude changed and now she's a girl who will do whatever she can to take care of her sister.
3)Why do you think Ko picked shoes shining over all the other jobs that makes more money?
i think that Ko picked that job because it makes a little money but at the same time she can go home and take care of Yoko anytime she wants, instead of other jobs that don't let you go home until a certain time.

1. I don't think that Mr. Naido really gets teased that much by the other girls, I just think that he really wants to help her because she really understands him because he's different, like her.
2. I think that she does make a turning point in her life to become a more responsible person. I think Ko is really tryin her best now that her mom is gone.
3. I don't think that she really chose it, maybe it was just the cheapest to get started off with or maybe she sees a lot of dirty shoes around :).
1. I think it's sad that Yoko gets teased a lot by the snotty school girls, but I agree with Alex that Mr. Naido doesn't really get teased.
2.Ko is a really awsome sister, she's been a stron leader throughout this whole story. I think Ko will do whatever it takes to support her only family left with her.
3.I think she takes the sho shining job because she can't get another job. I also think the shoe shining gets a lot of customers so she gets more money then selling on the street.
1. I think that they just fell that they should be there for each other because they both know what is fells like to be left out and teased at that school and any were else.
2. I think that Yoko has come out of her shell she has really seen that shoes aren't really important (can't belive I just wrote that) but whats happening right now, she has really mad in effort.
3. I think that is was the cheapest thing that she can start of with doing every after noon at rush hour, and might make her some money every day.

1: I think Yoko really understands Mr. Nadio because they have both been misunderstood at some point in their lives.
2: Ko will do anything for her younger sister, and Yoko really means a lot to her.
3: I think that it my have been just a random job that Ko got and shining shoes may have been the thing that payed most.
