Project Reflection

Project Title: MC Website
Class: A
Date: 3-12-08
The Purpose:
The purpose of this project was to learn responsibility because each person in our group had to do their share of work and research for the project. We had to basically make a website that is mainly about our topic. The topic we picked is music because we though this topic had allot to do with moral courage. In order to learn more about moral courage, we had to research about songs that showed moral courage through its lyrics. We had to do allot of work on the computer because it was a website and we had to do everything virtually if we wanted it on the website.
What I Learned:
I learned about many songs that are morally courageous, kenji, testify, bomb track, we shall overcome, these are all song that were against war. Fort minor, Rage Against the Machine And Charles Dinley were the people who wrote those songs and showed allot of moral courage because they didn't care if they offended people. In this project, I learned how to copy someone Else's work but write it in my own words so it wouldn't be copy writing. I learned how to make a flash movie too. Best of all, i learned responsibility and learned how to do my share of work.
Reflection:
i loved this project because we barfly had help from the our teacher, and we got to learn about being responsible. i liked the website making part of the project, and the topic we picked which was music. i feel like i should have done better on this project, because i did not revise my work as much as i was supposed to. Next time i would revise my work more instead of moving on and working on something else.
Artifact:
i have a link on my DP to our website.

TITLE: Let the Circle be Broken
AUTHOR: Mildred Taylor

As i told you in my last post, this family is very religious and are very mad at the Government for many reasons. The first reason is Mrs. Lee Annie is trying to stand up for her right to vote, but is put down by the Government and driven out of her home. This is an example of how cruel the Government was back in the 1800's. The Government gives no mercy to the people of different race of their own, and does not stop until their job is done. The second reason is, T.J is on trial for murder in front of an all Caucasian jury. Although the Government is giving no mercy, the Logan family is standing up for what they believe in even if there are consequences, showing allot of moral courage. The Logan family is proud to be who they are, a proud loving family who look out for each other. Some of Cassie's neighbors houses are being destroyed because of the racist and prejudice landowners.
