Nothing but the truth #3

Title: Nothing But The Truth
By:AVI

1. The ending of this story really surprised me in an awkward way. First of all, Phillip did not get caught up in the whole matter. Secondly, i thought Phillip was going to go out with Allison, and getting switched to a PRIVATE SCHOOL!!!! I was kind of expecting this ending, but at the same time i thought it would be a happy ending. The ending of this story is very hard to explain, because it sort of shocked me. He got Ms.Narwin, the teacher he likes mad at him, and he had people across America cheer him on. He has gotten himself in alot of trouble and he has America cheering him on.

2. This book would of been way better if the author didn't put so much frustrating content or emotional content in this book. I still like this book very much, but it has sort of changed the way i think. I think Phillip should be more attentive and realize that there is a problem, and he should solve it. I don't like how Phillip dishonestly told his parents about how he felt about Ms.Narwin, I think Ms.Narwin is a pretty good teacher and she has alot of students to back her up.

3.Did you honestly expect this ending, were you shocked (like me)? why or why not?

1: I agree! Phillip should have done the right thing and stood up for what he knew was right. Even if it was bad for him he should have gotten caught up in all of it and helped put an end to all the rumors that were going around.

2: I think that the author should have given Phillip more of a sense of doing the right thing and telling the newspaper that it was all a misunderstanding. He could have earned respect from his teachers and and the rest of America.

3: i wasnt suprised at the ending. at one point in the book i realized that it was all going downhill from here and somebody is gonna get hurt. In the end those people turned out to be Phillip and Ms. Narwin. Narwin is going to lose her career and her reputation, and Phillip lost all chances with Allison and more importantly, track.

1. I agree with you, I thought the ending would be a little better. I thought that he would get caught up in the whole thing, but I thought that he would be able to solve some of his problems. Instead he just ran away and hid from them. This was really irresponsible of him, since he caused this whole thing.

2. It's true, he told them that everyone hated her and that she was a bad teacher, but I think the parents should have looked into the matter further than what he told them so they could see for themselves what she was like and then they would have seen that he had lied to them. But then again, if they had done that, nothing would have happened and the book would have been really, really, boring.

3. I wasn't so shocked because I thought that eventually he would get what was coming to him. He was really just building energy to punch a trampoline and get his life pretty messed up. This shows what happens when you don't go with the flow, like Phillip's coach said to him.
